Operation Santa to visit local kids

Operation Santa Claus is scheduled to visit local hospitals tomorrow in an effort to spread Christmas cheer to children in our area.

Members of Operation Santa Claus, the Shreveport Police Department, and the Shreveport Fire Department will be at three area hospitals handing out presents and visiting with patients.

Santa and his crew will be at the Shriner’s Hospital, located at 3100 Samford Ave. at 10:00 a.m. When Santa and his helpers leave Shriner’s, they will drive the sleigh over to the LSU-HSC Children’s Hospital, located at 1501 King’s Hwy., at 11:30 a.m. Santa and his elves will round out their day by visiting the children at Christus Schumpert’s Sutton’s Children’s Hospital at 1:00 PM.
