Police seek purse snatcher

Shreveport Police Investigators need assistance in locating a suspect who robbed an elderly woman of her purse shortly after she left a convenience store at 1048 Louisiana.

On 11/03/2008 at approximately 11:37 AM, the suspect arrives in another vehicle believed to be a Ford Explorer, pulls up to the pumps and the suspect enters the store. As he looks around, sees a potential victim, exits the store and tells his accomplice to drive off. The suspect vehicle leaves the scene and the suspect re-enters the store.

The suspect waits for the victim to get her money at the register opens the door for her and as she is waiting to enter the passenger side of her vehicle, the suspect grabs her purse and runs in the direction of the suspect vehicle.
