Shooting on DeSoto and Hearne

Shortly after 9 AM this morning, Shreveport Police responded to a reported shooting at a bus stop at Hearne and Desoto.

Upon arrival officers discovered the victim, a 16 YO, b/m juvenile, had been transported to LSUHSC by private auto. During the investigation it was determined the victim and suspects engaged in a verbal altercation which turned physical, when one of the suspects punched the victim's mother in the face then fled. The victim gave chase armed with a brick and during the pursuit; one of the suspects turned and drew a handgun pointing it at the victim. Seeing the handgun, the victim turned around as the suspect fired numerous times striking the victim once in the back causing non-life threatening injuries.

Police investigators are seeking Legary Adams, b/m, 2-25-83 and a 16 year old b/m juvenile for the crime.
