2 Charged with Cruelty to a Juvenile

On 09-17-08 two 4 month old twin victims, KR b/f and KR b/m, were admitted as patients in the L.S.U.H.S.C Pediatrics Units in reference to multiple injuries to their ribs, femurs, humerus, and swelling to the soft tissues in their spines.

On 09-18-08 the victims' parents, Christopher Vailes and Conchetta Rhymes, came in to the S.P.D. Youth Services Office to be interviewed in reference to the victims' injuries.

Both suspects made statements in reference to knowing about an injury to one of the victims, but denied having knowledge of other injuries to the victims. Both suspects were arrested on the 2 charge Cruelty to Juveniles and transported to the S.P.D. jail.
