Update on Orlando Foster shooting

Shreveport Police have secured an arrest warrant for the man accused of shooting Orlando "Sam" Foster on Sunday afternoon.

Demarcus Morris, 18, of Shreveport is wanted for attempted first-degree murder.

Morris is believed to have shot Foster at Jewella and Midway about 1:10 p.m. on Sunday, June 1. Foster is in critical but stable condition at LSU Hospital.

Morris is possibly driving a white 1997 Mercury Marquis, license plate La. OKP 053.

SPD is still looking for another suspect in a related shooting that occurred in the 4700 block of Rightway in January of 2008. Marcus Coutee, 27, of Shreveport is also wanted for attempted first-degree murder.
