Sheriff Steve Prator and Chief Henry Whitehorn announced that the Caddo/Shreveport Narcotics Unit conducted an operation to reduce the sales of illegal drugs and prostitution in Shreveport. Agents with the Caddo - Shreveport Narcotics Unit and SPD VICE Unit made several purchases of illegal narcotics in the 400 block of Pete Harris at the Levingston Motel during the past month. During these investigations, Agents were able to obtain 3 narcotics search warrants signed by Caddo Parish District Judges. On Friday Agents executed the 3 search warrants. Upon execution of the search warrants, Agents made undercover officers available at this location for persons wanting to purchase of illegal drugs and also solicitation of prostitution. The operation was extremely successful, netting 19 felony arrests, 5 misdemeanor arrests, seized 14.7 grams of cocaine, 7.4 grams of marijuana, 1 weapon, and approximately $400.00 worth of illegal drug proceeds.
