Shreveport Police Department will conduct an all-day safety checkpoint on Wednesday (tomorrow, May 21).

The officers will be located somewhere in east Shreveport between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. They will be checking for seat belt usage, as well as other things like current proof of insurance, valid driver's license and inspection sticker.

The operation is part of SPD's Click It or Ticket Campaign, which is done in conjunction with the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission.
