Cross Lake Flooding

All residences and businesses in low lying areas adjacent to or near Cross Lake should prepare for possible flooding. All spillway gates are open; however with the record setting rainfall that has already occurred and more forecast later in the day, the possibility of flooding is imminent. It is predicted that a crest in the vicinity of 174 feet above MSL may occur. Additional rainfall could significantly raise the predicted crest level of the lake.
