**Update** Purse snatcher arrested

UPDATE: An arrest warrant has been issued for the second suspect in three recent purse snatchings.

Matthew Hardy, 23, of Shreveport is wanted for three counts of purse snatching, as well as a burglary that occurred in the 3700 block of Parkway within the past month.

Hardy's last known address is in the 3700 block of Richmond Avenue. He is known to frequent the Highland and Broadmoor areas.

Hardy failed to appear in Caddo District Court today to face two felony theft charges regarding the theft of videos and games from Blockbuster Video and for stealing checks from his father and trying to cash them.

Also today, a new charge will be added to Peters (see info below) for a charge of burglary in connection with the Parkway burglary.

Anyone with information on Hardy's whereabouts is asked to call Detective Jack Miller at 673-6955.
