Two people arrested for beating bus driver

Shreveport Police took two people into custody for reportedly beating a Caddo Parish School bus driver this morning.

The juvenile, whose name cannot be released, was picked up by police at his home, while William Hogan, 17, of Shreveport was arrested at his school.

Both are charged with battery of a bus driver.

The students were on a Caddo Parish School bus causing a disturbance when the bus driver, 60-year-old Fred Strong, stopped the bus. The two students reportedly attacked him, beating him in the face.

Strong suffered swelling to his head and jaw along with a black eye.
