Shreveport Police arrested three people tonight after a stabbing about 4 p.m. in the 600 block of West 72nd Street. Delarrius Hunter 24, of Shreveport received life-threatening injuries and Linda Terry, 38, of Shreveport was injured in her arm during a stabbing that resulted from a fight of mainly females. Those arrested were Terry for aggravated battery; Utopia Roberson, 22, of Shreveport for simple battery and aggravated assault and Germekia Roberson, 21, of Shreveport for simple battery. The investigation revealed that Roberson was the aggressor in the fight when she reportedly chased another woman with a metal pole. She then reportedly jumped on another woman and the fight escalated to include several poeple. One of the women involved in the fight pulled out a knife. In self defense, she began swinging the knife. As Hunter was trying to break up the fight, he received a severe injury to his chest. He was taken to LSU Hospital where he is in critical condition. The woman who pulled out the knife in self-defense has not been charged. Her name is not being released at this time. (Note: police policy states that names of suspects who have not been charged are not to be released). The case remains under investigation.
