Narcotics arrest 2 individuals

Caddo Parish Sheriff Steve Prator and Shreveport Chief of Police Henry Whitehorn announced today the felony arrests of two individuals by the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit.

The three-month investigation involved drug transactions made by 23-year-old Jade Cofer. On Tuesday, April 15, agents conducted a search warrant at her residence located in the 900 block of Daniel Street in Shreveport.

As a result of the search warrant, agents seized:

30 grams of Methamphetamine (ICE)

21 illegal narcotic pills

.9 grams of Cocaine

.25 caliber ammunition

Digital scales

$145.00 in U.S. Currency

Cofer was arrested, along with Matthew Stephens, 31, of Shreveport. They are both charged with felony narcotics charges, including possession with intent to distribute Schedule II, possession of Schedule III and manufacturing and distributing Schedule II and Schedule IV.
