S.P.D. promotes first woman ACP

Shreveport Police Department's Cheryl Jeter will become the first female assistant Chief of Police in a ceremony at 1 p.m. today.

The ceremony will take place in the Assembly Room, located on the 2nd floor of SPD.

Others being promoted include:

Promoted to Captain

Lieutenant James K. Baker

Promoted to Lieutenant

Sergeant John V. Webb

Promoted to Sergeant

Corporal IV Suzanne Gallier
