2 men wanted for armed robbery

Shreveport Police are looking for two men in connection with the Jan. 27 robbery of Circle K in the 700 block of Pierremont.

Jerome Hogan, 38, and George Arkansas, 48, both of Shreveport are being sought in connection with the incident that occurred about 7 a.m., as well as one at another convenience store later that morning.

The suspects went to the Circle K store and purchased gas. They then went inside. Hogan reportedly went behind the counter and produced a weapon. He reportedly took about 10 cartons of cigarettes. Meanwhile, Arkansas reportedly got a cigar. They then fled the scene. A warrant has been issued for Hogan for armed robbery with a firearm.

The two are also believed to have been involved in an incident at the Village Exxon, 9000 Mansfield Road, on Jan. 27. Around 10:50 a.m., the suspects reportedly were in the store when Arkansas allegedly went behind the counter and pushed the clerk to the floor. He then grabbed her purse, and the two fled the store in a black Chevy truck. A warrant has been issued for Arkansas for purse snatching.
