Police arrest shoplifter

Police have made an arrest in this case. David Hubbard, 48, of Shreveport was booked into the city jail today after a citizens tip. He was charged with armed robbery. Sorry, no mug available at this time.

Shreveport police are looking for the identity of a man who pulled a knife on a Wal-Mart employee while shoplifting DVDs.

The incident occurred on March 22 at the store in the 1100 block of Shreveport Barksdale. When approached by an employee who saw the man conceal the DVDs in his shirt, the suspect pulled a knife and fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6 feet tall and 170 pounds. He looked to be in his 40s.
