Home invasion arrests

Shreveport detectives have arrested two people in connection with two home invasion robberies in southeast Shreveport.

Kentrell Baker, 17, and Alonzo Ragsdale, 19, both of Shreveport were arrested today. Both are charged with two counts of armed robbery. They are accused of robbing citizens in their homes in District 6.

One took place 500 block of Dunbarton on Tuesday, April 8. The other one took place last week on Creswell off Gilbert.

In both robberies, the suspects entered the citizens' homes armed with a handgun. They got personal items from the home and fled the scene in a black SUV.

Most of the items were recovered, including a shotgun, handgun and camera. However, a pink Dell laptop computer stolen last week was reportedly sold on the street to someone. Whoever has the laptop is asked to turn it in to police. If they do so, they will not face criminal charges.
