Updates on shooting which killed 1, injured a juvenile
UPDATE 2: CAPPY TURNED HIMSELF TO SHREVEPORT POLICE THIS MORNING. HE HAS BEEN BOOKED INTO THE SHREVEPORT CITY JAIL. HE WILL BE TRANSFERRED TO CCC TO FACE THE FELONY CHARGE. BOND HAS BEEN SET AT $350,000.
UPDATE: Detectives got an arrest warrant for 18-year-old Cappy Sanders, wanted for second-degree murder in this case. He is accused of fatally shooting Deandre Taylor, 24, of Shreveport.

Shreveport Police responded to a shooting at the Stone Vista Apartments near Jordan that began as a fight between two females.
Police were called about a fight taking place about 7:18 p.m. at the apartment complex. The fight escalated into two men getting involved. At least one of those men pulled out a weapon and fired shots, killing one man and injuring a 10-year-old boy in the leg.
In the midst of the fight and shooting, approximately 500 people gathered at the scene, prompting dozens of officers to respond. While the crowd was large, no other injuries were reported.
A 24-year-old Shreveport man was taken to LSU Hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest. He died of his injuries. His name will be released on Friday.
The shooter is described as a young black male. Police had little other descriptions shortly after the shooting, but detectives and officers were talking to numerous witnesses with hopes of getting the name of the suspect.
