FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Police seek owner of 2 stolen bikes
Shreveport detectives have recovered two stolen bicycles, but they don't know the owners.
Three people were arrested after breaking into a home in the 600 block of Linden Street. At that time, they confessed to stealing the two bikes.
The bikes were recovered at one of the suspect's homes, but the owners of the bikes are not known. It is believed that the bikes were stolen last Thursday, possibly somewhere in the South Highlands area.
One of the bikes is a blue and black Schwinn featuring "TJ Lavin." The other one is a smaller yellow and red Schwinn that says "Safari" on the side.
If anyone can claim ownership of these bicycles, contact Detective Rachel Alkire in the Property Crimes Detectives Office, 673-6985, or Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
Information can be left with Crime Stoppers at 673-7373 or by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.crimestoppersshreveportcaddo.com.
