Man arrested for taking illegal pictures of women

Shreveport Police arrested a man accused of taking pictures of women without their consent and using them for self-gratification.

Ernest Anye, 36, of Shreveport was charged with video voyeurism after the husband of one of the women he was photographing complained to a Wal-Mart store manager in the 1100 block of Shreveport Barksdale.

The incident took place about 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Anye reportedly took about 30 photographs of many women, mostly of their buttocks. He was arrested and his camera was seized.
