Narcotics Arrests

Sheriff Steve Prator and Chief Henry Whitehorn announced that the Caddo/Shreveport Narcotics Unit conducted the fourth installment of Operation Closed Market to reduce the sales of illegal drugs in Shreveport. Agents with the Caddo – Shreveport Narcotics Unit made numerous undercover purchases of illegal narcotics throughout the city of Shreveport during the past month. During these investigations, Agents were able to obtain 16 narcotics search warrants signed by Caddo Parish District Judges. On Friday and Saturday Agents, along with the assistance Caddo Sheriff K-9 Units and the Shreveport Investigations Division executed 14 of the search warrants.

The operation was extremely successful, netting 25 felony arrests, 6 misdemeanor arrests, 29.2 grams of cocaine, 1001 grams of marijuana, 7 weapons, and $7,734.00 worth of illegal drug proceeds. The street value of all drugs seized was $12,930.00. Below are the arrests and seizures during this operation.
