Car hits light pole

Several blocks in Shreveport are without power this morning after a car knocked down a telephone pole.

Joyce Watson, White female DOB 6-1-54, crashed her car into the light pole in the 600 block of Jordan shortly after midnight causing several blocks to lose power.

Watson was taken by a DWI Officer for testing, it is unknown at this time if she failed or passed the tests once they were administered.

Police have blocked off Jordan between Creswell and Nutt and are awaiting SWEPCO to remove the pole off of Watson's vehicle. Approximately 2 blocks between Creswell and Nutt are with out power.

No one was hurt in the one car accident.
