Summer Activities for Kids

The Shreveport Police Department is planning a number of fun activities for youth in the coming months. A list of the dates and events is listed below.

March 8, 2008 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pastors Youth Activity Day, Valencia Park, 1800 Viking

May 10, 2008 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Kids Safety Day (issuing bike helmets) lower section of Festival Plaza

May 31, 2008 8 a.m. to noon SPD Fishing Camp, Cross Lake Patrol

June 7, 2008 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. COP Golf Camp, location to be determined

June 16, 17, 18 8 a.m. to noon SPD Basketball Camp, location to be determined

June 25 8 a.m. to noon SPD Basketball Camp, David Raines Recreation Center, 2920 Round Grove

August 16 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pastor Youth Day, location to be determined

September 13 8 a.m. to noon COP Golf Camp, 2200 Milam Lakeside Recreation Center
