Man robs methadone clinic

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Eric Krauel, who is wanted on robbery charges.

The Center for Behavioral Health in the 1300 block of Line Ave was robbed on Feb. 5th by a man in a red ski mask. The Center is a clinic that uses controlled doses of methadone to help people overcome heroin and prescription painkiller addictions. The clinic’s methadone was stolen in this robbery.

Krauel has been identified as the suspect in this case. He is a former patient of the clinic, and was recognized by a witness despite the ski mask. Krauel is a 29-year-old white male, and is 5’8” - 5’9” tall. His last known residence is an apartment in the 100 block of Southfield Rd. He may be driving a blue, 1992 Oldsmobile Silhouette mini-van, Louisiana license plate # RJA 422.
