Shreveport Police responded to a carjacking in the 6000 block of Willard Avenue this afternoon, in which the victim was shot in the leg. Mitchell Snead, 17, address unknown, was reportedly looking to buy drugs when he was flagged down by two unknown black males. They led him to a vacant house. Once inside, they produced a weapon and demanded his money and other valuables. Snead gave the suspects his personal property, including a key to his vehicle. One of the suspects fired the gun at the victim, striking him in the thigh. They then fled in his truck, which was recovered at Fairfield and E. 66th Street a short while later. The victim was transported to LSU Hospital with a non life-threatening gunshot wound. Suspect descriptions are not available at this time.
