Thrifty Liquor robbed twice

The Shreveport Police need help identifying a man who robbed at gun point two liquor stores on the same day just a few hours apart.

The first Thrifty Liquor robbed was in the 8600 block of Youree drive shortly before 11:00 AM on January 27 of this year. The armed robber walked into the store and produced a chrome handgun and demanded money from the cashier. Once the robber had the money he left the store in an undetermined direction with an unknown amount of money.

A short time later the Thrifty Liquor in the 4800 block of Greenwood road was robbed by a masked man. In this armed robbery the individual produced a handgun and demanded money from the cashier. Once he got an undetermined amount of money he left the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black or dark gray hoodie. The suspect had the hoodie pulled up over his head and had some kind of elastic strip covering his mouth. The suspect was also wearing black pants possibly blue jeans. The man had a thin build.
