Lions Stolen

Shreveport Police are on the lookout for two large lions that are possibly lying in a yard somewhere in the Arklatex.

They're not real lions, of course. But you could say they are larger than life.

The two brown, full-size lions - weighing in at 850 pounds each - are valued at a total of $8,400. They were stolen Monday night from Corner Collection, located at 8320 Line Ave.

The business has suffered from several recent burglaries, where concrete yard and landcape items have been taken.

If anyone has seen a landsacape contractors or lawn care workers install these items recently or been approached to buy them, please contact Detective Roger Courtney at 673-6985 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
