I-20 accident

Shreveport Police Department is working a major crash on Interstate 20 in the eastbound lanes from Heard Avenue to Lakeshore Drive.

The interstate is down to one lane, as officers are working to get the cars towed out of the way. There are three vehicles involved and possible injuries. One car caught on fire as a result of the accident.

Travelers should avoid the area if possible, but officers are working to get the lanes open as soon as possible. Will advise when wreck has cleared.
