Shoe Shack burglaries

Shreveport Police have arrested an 11 year old juvenile on charges of burglary.

It all started in the 4700 block of Linwood when the owner of the Shoe Shack checked on his business around 1:00 AM this morning.

The owner looked though the locked doors and discovered several individuals had broken into his business. When the police responded to the Shoe Shack, the owner could not find the point of entry as all windows and doors were secured.

Patrol Officers began to make a perimeter check of the business. When the officers rounded the back of the building the juvenile suspect jumped from the roof. The suspect was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.

The juvenile was transported to the Detective Office and interviewed. The investigation continues at this time and more arrests could follow.
