Police seek two who skipped court date
The Shreveport Police are looking for two men who now have warrants out for their arrest.
Warren Freeman JR., White Male DOB 3-5-1974, and David Ray Pope, also a white Male DOB 5-23-1955, are wanted for cashing pawn tickets from a stolen wallet and selling several firearms and several expensive pieces of Jewelry.
Pope and Freeman were arrest on Oct. 11th last year after detectives learned they had stolen a wallet from a Shreveport citizen and used the pawn tickets inside the wallet to get several firearms and some jewelry out of a pawn shop.
The fire arms were sold to a citizen in Bossier Parish. The firearms have since been recovered, however some jewelry which was in the pawn shop was not recovered.
David Pope and Warren Freeman Jr. both have warrants for missing their court dates. They have skipped town and are on the run. Detectives believe that they are living somewhere in east Texas possibly around the Longview area.
