Dollar General robbery on North Market
The Shreveport Police need the public's help in identifying 2 individuals who robbed a Dollar General Saturday night.
Shortly before 9:00 PM two employees were closing the Dollar General in the 3200 block of North Market when two armed men entered the store and forced them to give the cash from the store. When one of the employees left the store the two men approached her as she neared her car and forced her back in to the store.
Once inside the store the two men split up with one of the men taking one of the employees to the back of the store to the office. Once in the office the robber forced the employee to give him the cash.
The robbers left the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The first suspect is described as a black male between 5'10" and 6 feet tall with a slender build armed with a silver handgun. He was wearing a red rag over his face and was wearing a black hoodie.
The second suspect is also described as a black male between 5'10" and 6 feet tall with a slender build armed with a silver handgun. He was wearing a red rag over his face and was wearing a black hoodie.
