2 injured in afternoon shooting
One person was shot and another person was injured in a shooting that occurred at Linholm and Rightway streets this afternoon.
About 3:30 p.m., a black male wearing a black hoodie reportedly walked up to a Cadillac that was pulling into a driveway in the 4700 block of Rightway and opened fire. The suspect then fled on foot or in a vehicle south on Linholm.
The two people in the car received non life-threatening injuries. Jeremy Foster, 18, was shot in the arm and the side. Davis Morris, 28, of Blanchard was received injuries to his back. Morris' injuries are believed to have been caused by debris from the shooting, possibly glass or bullet fragments. Numerous shots were fired at the Cadillac.
Police have a possible nickname of the shooter. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call detectives at 673-6955 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
