Burglar caught on tape

Shreveport Police Department is hoping someone will recognize a man captured on surveillance video who broke into the Atlas Federal Credit Union in the 3100 block of Midway Avenue on Feb. 5.

The suspect made entry in the early morning hours. He was covered with a hood and wearing a dark heavy coat and light-colored pants.  He appeared to be a young male, possibly black, with a medium height and build.

He was carrying some type of tool, which is believed to have been used to break into the business.
