Two different arrests for aggravated rape

Shreveport Police Department has arrested two men on separate charges of aggravated rape.

Last night, Eddie McCraney Jr. of Shreveport was booked into the Shreveport City Jail after being indicted by a Caddo Parish Grand Jury. He allegedly raped a 13-year-old girl in 2006. However, he had reportedly been molesting the girl since she was 8 years old. Bond has been set at $250,000.

About 3 a.m. this morning, police arrested an 18-year-old man for allegedly raping an 11-year-old girl. DeAndre Davis had reportedly been having sexual relations with her since she was age 10. It is possible that the girl is pregnant. He was arrested in the 2600 block of Lindholm and was booked into the Shreveport City Jail. No bond has yet been set.
