Grassroots walk in Joyce Bowman’s district

Shreveport Police Department will be holding a "Grass Roots Crime Fighting Campaign" with several other city departments and city leaders on Wednesday, March 14, at 3 p.m.

The walk involves employees and community volunteers going door to door to visit with residents and follow up on problems reported in the neighborhoods.

This walk will begin at 4736 Lyba at the Sacred Heart Church, with the walk expected to start by 3:30 pm.  This walk is based on complaints received during the Council District G town hall meeting that was held on Feb. 15. District G is represented by Councilwoman Joyce Bowman.
