Media Academy registration underway

The next Media Academy is set for April 16-20. Registration is now underway. For those who have never heard of this, the Media Academy is a 1/2 day, 20-hour course offered every three years for members of any news media wanting to get a "first hand" look at the Shreveport Police Department. We've had reporters, news directors, photographers and even meteorologists attend this course!

It is excellent for anyone wanting to hone their skills at covering the police beat, or for people who want to know why officers do what they do. Here's what some past Media Academy graduates have had to say:
