Robbery suspect nabbed in Red River Parish
Red River Parish Sheriff's Office detained Kim Eric Adams today, and Shreveport Police detectives drove to Coushatta to transport him back to Shreveport. He has been booked into the Shreveport City Jail on a charge of second degree robbery and several traffic warrants.
Shreveport Police need your help in tracking down a suspect wanted in connection with a robbery at the Circle K in the 3300 Block of Bert Kouns.
Adams Kim, (correct first and last name), 23, of Stonewall, is wanted for 2nd degree robbery. Shortly after midnight on Monday (Jan. 22), 20-year-old Lauren White was with her fiancé at the Circle K located at 3301 Bert Kouns preparing to purchase gas. As they began to walk into the store, White observed Kim reach inside of her vehicle taking a wallet and her purse. When White confronted the suspect, a struggle ensued and ultimately White -- who is 8 months pregnant -- was kicked in the stomach by the suspect. The suspect managed to drive away with the purse in a vehicle driven by a woman identified as Amanda Barlow, 21, of Stonewall.
White was transported to a local hospital. During the investigation, it was learned that the driver of the vehicle was Barlow and that the robbery suspect was Kim. Barlow was charged with Simple Robbery and also charged with an unrelated theft from a business. Barlow was booked into the City Jail.
Anyone with information on Kim's whereabouts is asked to call Detective Paul Robinson at 673-6955 or Crime Stoppers at 73-7373
