Two people arrested for drugs

The Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit arrested two people last night after finding 17 pounds of marijuana, as well as cash and guns.

A search warrant was conducted at 2839 Exposition about 6 p.m. At that time, they located the drugs, as well as $3,673, one pistol and an AK47 rifle.

Arrested were the residents of that house -- Jerry Wayne Brown, 26, and Crystal Clark, 22. They are charged with possession of Schedule I with intent to distribute and possession with a weapon around narcotics.

The street value of the marijuana is $76,160.
