Police seek beating suspect

Shreveport police are continuing their investigation into the severe beating of a man dropped off at a local hospital early Sunday morning.

David Prudhomme, 28, of Shreveport was dropped off at Christus Schumpert on Margaret Place about 7 a.m. Sunday. He had last been seen at two local clubs the night before -- Legends and Fatty Arbuckles. Because of the severity of his injuries, he was taken to LSU Hospital where he is currently in serious condition in the surgical Intensive Care Unit.

Police are currently seeking the man who dropped him off at the hospital. The man is a white male believed to be named Phillip Walker, unknown age and address. He is wanted for questioning in this case.

It is currently unknown what happened to Prudhomme or when and where the beating occurred. The case remains under investigation.
