Police investigate shooting

Shreveport police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the 2800 block of Freddie at 2:30 p.m. this afternoon.

Alvin Jones, 40, of Shreveport was shot in the leg during a family dispute. He was taken to LSU Hospital, where his is listed in fair condition.

The investigation continues into this case. So far, no arrests have been made.
