Kidnapping suspects in custody
Three men are in custody for allegedly kidnaping a woman at gunpoint and taking her from her home.
Johnny Hill, 18, and Kevin Anderson, 17, both of Shreveport are charged with aggravated kidnaping, possession of Schedule II (cocaine) and possession of a weapon with drugs. Meanwhile, 20-year-old Sherman Morris of Shreveport is charged with aggravated kidnaping.
The three men are accused of taking the 17-year-old woman at gunpoint from her home at the Patzman Street Apartments and taking her to a home in the 2600 block of Portland about 4:30 a.m. today. The victim is Hill's estranged girlfriend. After taking her against her will, Hill and the woman simply talked. The victim was uninjured.
Officers responding to the initial kidnaping location obtained information as to the possible whereabouts of the woman. Police went to the Portland home and located her. The three men were taken into custody for questioning and subsequently charged.
