Officer injured in hit and run

A Shreveport Police motorcycle officer injured in a hit and run crash Saturday continues to recover at Schumpert Medical Center.

Corporal Thomas Reich underwent shoulder surgery yesterday. According to his doctor, the surgery was a success and a complete recovery is expected.

Shreveport Police are still needing the public's help in this crash. The driver of what is possibly a dark green colored sedan who hit Reich has not yet been located.

Anyone with any information, even if seems minor, is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373.
