Women’s self-defense course

The Shreveport Police Department is hosting a Women's Basic Self Defense course at the Shreveport Police Academy on Thursday, January 26, from 6 to 8 p.m.

About 20 to 25 slots are available for any woman wanting to learn how to protect themselves.

Anyone that may be interested in attending this free course must call the academy at 673-7170 to register.
