Suspects arrested in holiday decoration vandalism cases

Shreveport police have apprehended three suspects for vandalizing holiday displays and are working to arrest a fourth.

Jeremy Jeansonne and Jonathan Burks, both 17, were charged with criminal property damage for destroying inflatable yard decorations. A 16-year-old male also was charged.

A fourth person is currently being sought. The four are suspected of committing several acts of vandalism, on Bayou Drive and Audobon Drive, and possibly incidents on E. Washington and other streets in District 6.

The suspects were issued citations and will have to appear in City Court, except for the 16 year-old who will have to appear in juvenile court.

Police identified and located the suspects through a tip called in to Crime Stoppers.
