Police Academy graduates 19

The Shreveport Police Department Regional Police Academy graduated 19 people today – 17 who will work as Shreveport patrol officers.

Members of the 52^nd Basic Police Session received their badges and took the oath of office in a ceremony held at the academy this morning.

Those going to work for the Shreveport Police Department are: Henry Burak, Shawn Driggers, Jason Frazier, Robert Gordon, Matthew Gryder, Glentask Heckard, Shannon Hicks, Torriano Lee, Chadvist Prim, Christophe Rowell, Jay Ryan, Daniel Scott, Eli Travis, Richard Turpen, Calvin Watts, Andre’ Wilson and Johnnie Young.

Those graduating for other departments were Michael Caston, who is going to work for the Greenwood Police Department and Tammy Ortega, who is going to work for the Shreveport Airport Authority.
