Police investigate stabbing

Police arrested 19-year-old Holly Viola of Shreveport on a charge of aggravated battery for a stabbing that occurred about 1 p.m. at Egan and Highland streets today.

Sue Thomas, 17, of Shreveport was stabbed in the chest by a knife after she and Viola were arguing over a boy.

Thomas' wound is not life-threatening. She was taken to LSU Hospital.
