Police looking for bank robber

Shreveport police are looking for a man who robbed Hibernia Bank this morning.

Michael Diggs, 25, of Shreveport is wanted for simple robbery. He is accused of entering Hibernia Bank at 3715 Greenwood Road just after 9 a.m. today.

He reportedly entered the bank and showed the teller a note that asked for money. He got the money and left the bank on foot in an unknown direction. He did not show the teller a weapon.

Information obtained in the investigation lead detectives to Diggs. If the public knows his whereabouts, call detectives at 673-6955 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7000.
