Homicide Suspect Arrested

At approximately 9:00 AM today, Shreveport Police Detectives arrested Charles R. Edwards, Sr., for the murder of Vickie Brown on October 3^rd, from 1949 Milam Street.

Police received information from a Crime Stoppers tip stating Edwards had checked himself into Brentwood Hospital and was scheduled to be released today. Detectives went to the hospital an arrested Edwards soon after his discharge without incident.

Edwards was booked into CCC for 1^st Degree Murder with bond to be determined.
