Man arrested for 2^nd degree murder

Shreveport police have charged a man with 2^nd degree homicide for the shooting that occured at the Pel State Fina on Martin Luther King Drive on September 9th. Henry Sherman, 32, shot William Watson Jr., 24, in the head when Watson exited the store with two friends after buying cigars. Watson was transported to LSUHSC, where he died this Saturday.

The police recovered the weapon believed to have been used in the shooting.
