Man arrested for attempted murder
Shreveport police arrested a man for last night’s shooting at the Pel State Fina on Martin Luther King Drive. Henry Sherman, 32, allegedly shot William Watson Jr., 24, in the head when Watson exited the store with two friends after buying cigars. Watson was transported to LSUHSC, where he remains at this time.
The police were able to recover the weapon believed to have been used in the shooting. Sherman was charged with attempted 2d degree murder and booked into the Caddo Correctional Center.
