Police investigate kidnapping/homicide

Shreveport police are investigating an early morning kidnaping and homicide that occurred in a West Shreveport neighborhood.

The incident began just after 5 a.m. at a home in the 4900 block of Dandridge. A black male forcibly entered the house and removed 22-year-old Brodalynn Kelly of Shreveport. The suspect and the woman left in a white 1994 Ford Probe.

The Ford Probe was found parked in front of a home in the 5000 block of Waters Street, and Kelly was found deceased in a nearby ditch. She had been shot at least once.
